Account Responsibility – You must provide accurate information and are responsible for all activity under your account.

Fees & Taxes – Merchants must pay subscription fees, transaction fees, and applicable taxes. Shopify gives 30 days’ notice before fee changes.

Acceptable Use – You cannot sell prohibited items or engage in illegal activities.

Intellectual Property – Merchants retain rights to their content but grant Shopify permission to host and process it.

Privacy & Data – Shopify collects and processes customer data; merchants must disclose this in their own policies.

Termination – Shopify can suspend or terminate accounts for violations or non-payment.

Liability Limits – Shopify is not liable for indirect damages like lost profits or goodwill.

Modifications – Shopify may update terms, and continued use means acceptance of changes
